Went for the first time today. I got the 1/4 chicken dark meat, rice and beans. I knew that it could take a while for the order, and they were true to form. It took about 15 or 20 minutes to get my food after ordering. I waited inside and breathed in the wood smoke. The chicken was good, but the skin was not as crispy as I was expecting after reading the reviews. Next time I want to try the fries, which are supposed to be good. At 1 PM on Labor Day Monday, there was a constant line. About half the people are getting orders to go. The other half are jostling for the 6 or 7 tables. The parking lot is small with only one entrance but I was able to find street parking nearby.

This chicken from here is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The parking, however is very limited. If possible, I call ahead and place an order to go to avoid the crowd.

Price = $10-$35 | Service = below average | Cleanliness = average | Parking = Lot but small | Interior = old restaurant style diner Ordered the half chicken with rice and beans which cost around ~$18. They have tables to dine in that look like the old diner style. There's a small parking lot that can fit about 5 cars. Be warned...this place does not have good customer service. The cashier was not friendly at all. Now...this is one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had EVER! Wow. Each piece of this half chicken was absolutely delicious with flavor and oozing with juices. The juices were literally dripping out with each bite. The rice with some carrots complemented the black beans in a broth like soup that tasted like they were made with meat. This place is highly recommended if you are a chicken liver or even meat lover. This is one of the best meats I've had.

As a rotisserie chicken lover I knew I had to check out pollo a la brasa. Upon walking in the first thing that hits you is the smell of their amazing wood fire rotisserie, something you really aren't expecting to see in the middle of koreatown. After ordering I was lucky to find seating for me and my friends in what was a 6-8 table dining room. We were told 30 mins for our food but it came out in around 15 minutes and wow was it worth it. The chicken was amazing and seasoned perfectly throughout, complimented by their green sauce which I doused on everything. Pair that with some great rice and beans and I can confidently say it's one of the best value meals in LA.

Pollo A La Brasa - Western (est: 1988) is considered the top Peruvian spot for rotisserie chicken. The wood-fire roast chicken is GREAT! It's just that if you are NOT walking distance or live in the area where you Uber or Grubhub/Doordash it ; the PARKING situation proves impossible to eat here. Try it yourself and see. GOOD NEWS: they have location in Gardena, CA! *Pro tip* the owner suggested "STREET" parking instead of their tiny 5 car maximum lot. If you park in the private front lot, you most likely will be "blocked in" when leaving; you will. And backing up in "reverse" onto 8th street speeding heavy traffic is NOT fun.... Not to mention street/residential parking is impossible! My suggestion? Bring a friend/spouse/ anybody that can drive to circle the block or find a nearby business parking lot and buy something small there so you can park- then walk to Pollo A La Brasa- Western. Every celebrity chef in town and Food Network star "Marcus Samuelsson", LOVES it here. Ok great, but my question is where the "expletive" do they park? Anyhow, the food is VERY good and inexpensive . Expect a 30 to 60 wait time. Boss lady that's loud is cool and workers are busy af - tip well and they will hook you up with essentials without asking (By the way, their Green Sauce is very Spicy; spicier then most Peruvian places I been to).You will smell like SMOKY Chicken after leaving! The Place is tiny. If you must dine-in, there are probably like 5 or 6 tables available. Personally, I won't revisit as often as I like too, due to parking issues. However, if parking isn't an issue for you then this place is sincerely great. Cash and Credit accepted. Parking: Forget about it.

I had this brought over by a friend for an evening in. We had a whole rotisserie chicken and fries with a side salad. The sauce was incredible! I think they get really busy on the weekends. They called in the order and had to wait a few minutes before our order was ready but it was worth the wait. The chicken was really juicy and flavorful and the sauce was just spicy enough to take it to the next level. It was gone before I could even get a picture

Catered a lunch for 40 folks today in the office. I was completely swamped with work and only had 24 hrs to find catering for the event. They were totally fine with my order of 10 chickens for the next day. The meal was chicken, french fries and salad. The family meal is $30x10= $300+ tax=$330. People were very surprised, happy, and satisfied. They could stop talking about how delicious the chicken was. Then my Latino colleagues gush over the aji sauce omg they were using it like salad dressing on their chicken. Out of the 2 containers we only had 1/2 container left which my Latina colleague took home to share with her mom. Been coming here for over 10 years and should have written a review much earlier but this catering put them in "awesome" status. So glad I work in the city.

A staple in koreatown Los Angeles! Straight and simple to the point! This place has the best chicken in town! I usually get half chicken with fries and rice! And stock up on the green sauce (aji sauce) it makes everything taste so much better! Parking is sparse, but they have a small parking lot. It's a family run business and happy for them to be still in business after all these years!

Amazing! Fantastic and Jonathan Gold (RIP) loved this place. Pollo a la Brasa! You can smell the smoky ovens a block or two away. I wish you all could smell how delicious PALB is! As far as I'm aware, this establishment does not subscribe to third-party apps, it is old skool, mom n' pop. So get in your car and drive over to the teeny parking lot in front and order at the counter. You can also call ahead *if* they answer the phone. Se habla español - with amazing service. Get the pollo, the rice (with veggies mixed in - my favorite), the black beans will last for days with the frites and salad. Delish! Great for a solo meal or a family gathering, Pollo a La Brasa doesn't disappoint.
